Funny you should mention that. I stopped by where I work and was showing my truck off to some of my co workers. They were giving me a bad time about how clean it was inside and out. One of them made a comment about the towels that I keep on the seats. I replied that they were there to help keep the leather clean.

One of the ladys that works in the office jumped in to check to see what it was like to be in a larger vehicle (she drives a Honda, but she and her hubby want to buy a truck and 5th wheel) I was showing her all of the upgrades that I had done to the vehicle. I handed her the key, told her to turn the ignition switch on, then with her left foot, push the little button tucked up behind the parking brake pedal.

She asked what was going to happen, and all I told her is that it was the latest upgrade option available for the F250's, just push the button!

I don't know which was louder, her screaming or the horns blaring! After she calmed down, she said, "now I know why you have towels on the seats.....don't worry about the wet spot"

Gotta love air horns!

no it is only like a .5 second delay for the air compresor, but when you hit the lock button on the key fob it will not build up enough pressure to be to loud about as loud as the stock horns

If you do have them, how much were they and where did you get them?
Were they hard to install, and can I have it as a seperate horn that just operates from a button in the cab somewhere rather than it replace the factory horn? My neighbors would get pretty pissed if they had to hear a train horn every time I locked my doors.
Thanks guys!
I had my dealer turn off the horn "chirp" when locking the first time but it will chirp with a quick second push of the button.

Just another option. BTW most dealers don't like doing it and will probably say it can't be done. The only way I found out was my brother that works as a mech at Ford dealership. The dealership said it couldn't be done so my bro asked his alarm buddy to do it for me. I don't know why they do that but maybe it's a money thing where they don't get paid for it. It's more of a customer satisfaction thing than a warranty issue, I guess.

Have fun with your new horns...

Well, how difficult can it possibly be to install the compressor with hoses?

At least we have some room in the F150 engine bay for some extra parts.

My dad has a train horn in his big ole truck that will scare a black man white! It does however have a compressor and an air tank, But its all tucked underneath the bed of the truck! You cant see anything and you can eigther have it welded on like my dads or you can buy the bolt up kit.

I dont have a pic of the horn set-up, But heres his beast.

All the trucks don't beep when you press the button the first time. The first push just locks, another push chirps the horn.
