TCC -

There are indeed guide holes in the tailgate (2 of them) - I had previously put a big time dent and scratch right next to the emblem that was going to have to be fixed anyways, so I had my paint guy go ahead and fill the holes and de-badge it prior to re-spraying the tailgate. I didn't want to deal with re-shooting the front fenders, so I went ahead and painted the fender emblems black, and they came out better than I expected.

The Terra Grapplers are 305/55/20 - I test fit some 325/60/20's because I had seen them done on another truck with a Daystar lift and trimming, but no way was it going to happen with these wheels and their backspacing.

What prep process was done on the badges b4 they were painted black and was there any special additive to get the paint to bond.. I've wanted to paint my as well but didn't know about the prep ect.
