Chrome Tow Hooks

I'm reading a truck magizine here, and they have an advertisment for chrome tow hooks.. They look Sweet! Shaped the same as the OEM tow hooks except they're billet.. machined from a solid piece..

I went to the website listed and I couldnt find a pic of them..
Prolly have to call to get a pic and price..

www.pro-one.com

Like I said, they look cool!

I linked off of what you posted to find this, I think it is what you were looking at in the magazine, these are cool looking, but I don't know if I would use them, they seem that they are more cosmetic, and I would rather ruin the stock ones than some aftermarket hooks that cost over $150.

Those are NOT the same tow hooks as in the magizine.

The ones in the mag are the same shape as the OEM hooks, except they are squared off instead of round.. You'd just have to see them.

They'd just be used to look pretty anyways, I wouldn't want to scratch them up actually using them to tow somthing. Cost will prolly be over $100.

If they are squared insted of rounded they are not the same shape as stock now are they?

OK.. Hard to describe without a pic.

The OEM ones are a piece of round stock that is bent into a round eye shape...

The ones Im trying to describe are the same shape as the stock ones.

Same shape, except the actuall round piece of metal is squared off....

Nevermind... without a pic, this thread is useless. If someone want chrome tow hooks at look cool, call the people at pro-one.

The is above is from from here .. they cost $150

Would probably be cheaper to take yours off, strip the paint off then take them to have them plated yourself!

I get what you are saying. The chromed ones are just as tough as the OEM ones, just pretty. I am guessing that the 150 buck ones are expensive because they will stand up to whatever ya pull. But, you don't want to use them, so it's a toss up.

Yes. That would certainly be the cheapest route. And you'd prolly get the most satisfaction too.
