Westin Ultimate Bull Bar
Westin Ultimate Bull Bar
I'll make this short and sweet.
Who has the cheapest price for this brilliant looking bullbar on the web?
Please provide links if it's no problem.
I'm [just about] ready to purchase this for myself as a Xmas gift.
Thank you in advance.

Josiah,
>Can you possibly take a picture of this or draw a diagram in paint for me.

It is really very simple, no fancy diagrams needed.
The Bull bar I have (and from what I understand all of them mount the same way) mounts with a steel bracket in place of the tow hooks (2 bolts on each side). It is basically a flat horizontal steel bar with a round mounting plate welded vertically at the front end of the bar for the round tubes of the bull bar to mount to.
What you can do is hold the bracket for the bull bar up against the frame and then put the tow hooks under it, and put the factory bolts thru both units sandwiching them together as one. On my particular bracket there was a gusset from the the backside of the round plate going back to the flat plate that I needed to make a small notch in for it mount properly.
Take a look at how your Tow hooks are mounted and it will be pretty obvious, in a nutshell imagine putting a 1/4" or so steel plate between your existing tow hooks and the frame.
Hope that helps,

Oh, another way you can do it if your particular B-Bar bracket wasn't like mine is to drill 2 new mounting holes in the factory hooks so they mount a little father rearward to clear the B-bar round plate mounting area.

They seem to be nice guys and were willing to let me return it if it didn't fit the aftermarket front on my FTX.
