i installed an air aid kit in my 05, now whens it cold theres a rattle coming from that area. not sure if its the kit or not, but when im stopped at a light and begin to go forward, theres something rattling for a split second then its gone. anyone else get this?

 

Same thing happened to me. The CAI box was rattling against the front radiator mounting pillar. Put a piece of split hose there on the edge the box. It could also be the hose you had to relocate next to the fender.

Mine had a something along the same lines. The airbox bottom plate would vibrate against the mount. I hadn't tightened the 3 mount bolts enough & I had to bend the part that angles down (in the front of the bottom plate) up a little. <--more so it was the angled piece causing most of the problems. You did remember to put the backing strip under the two inside airbox mount bolts?

Thats funny, mine did that too ....and while I was at the Ford dealer getting a service I asked the tech to give me a hand, we drove circles in the parking lot repeatedly trying to figure out what the rattle noise was. It was the metal part of filter housing of the CAI rattling against the fender, and just like yours, it was only during takeoff, and only at a certain rpm, adjusting the mounting bolts fixed it up, no problem.
