Okay guys help me out here. I've been debating on trading my truck in this spring time. I've had it since Dec '03, its a '04 lariat screw. I've put an airaide intake, custom bent true dual borla exhaust, autospring, 35" BFG MTs. And I'm considering selling it or trading it in to get an '06 King Ranch edition maybe even with the longer bed.

My question is would it be worth trying to keep my 35"s, etc off this truck and trading it in without them and then putting them on the new truck, plus I would have to pay to get a new exhaust/intake system, autospring, etc. But if I can get a new truck with less miles, a warranty again, maybe lower payment b/c of interest rates, would it be worth it?

Give me your opinions. Because I know you guys have opinions and love to share them. J/k!

 

What will you be getting in the 2006 that you don't have in the 2004. I realize that you will have a warranty, but you will also have a few years more of car payments. Maybe you should invest in an extended warranty if that is the major concern.

How many payments do you owe on your current truck? How many years would you finance the new truck for?

 

I don't see where you would gain much beyone a warranty and more debt.

 

If you want to do it, I say go for it. BUT...sell your truck. Do not trade it in. They won't give you ***** for it. I would just sell it as is, and start fresh with all new mods on the new one. I was trying to trade mine just the other night, and they were only gonna give me 17k (maybe) for it, that sucks. So forget that. She'll be mine unless Ford decides they cant fix it and gives me a new one.
