Hard Wire?

Is there an easy way to hard wire my powered PDA mount to power on when the truck is turned on. I've heard people buying female cigarette lighter socket's with bare wires, but where do I connect the bare wires to get power when the truck is turned on? Thanks.

Run the power wire to the fusebox, and slide that wire in with a fuse, one that controls something like the stereo.

let me the very first to reply....it feels sooo good...anyways back to your problem. all you have to do is split the wires and ground the negative to any metal part of the body. then you can try to tap into a ignition power wire behind your dash somewhere or you can do what i did and run it to the fuse box. if you search "hardwire" in this forum it will tell you what fuse to tap it in too so you don't have to search. i think i might have mentioned it too. well hope that helps

damn you josiah i was tryin to maticulous!
