I was without my truck for 110 days from February to the end of August this summer. I all but gave up...

Hang in there Brew. Don't give up. Ford likes to drag their feet. It took me 13 months to get mine resolved. You may want to call the BBB and let them know what is happening. I am not sure of your state's lemon law, but in Mississippi you must go the Ford's(BBB) route first.

If it makes you feel any better a buddy of mine had an 04 dodge and the engine blew up. Dodge offered him a replacement, but he bought An FX4 instead.

Thanks Delta...Im at the end of my rope here. I cringe every month when I send my payment off. Knowing im paying for something I absolutely hate (at this time)The BBB and Ford offered me a complete repair. I'm fine with that. BUT..tha was 1 month ago. I got a call from Ford telling me an engineer will be out to look at my truck and make the necessary repairs. I was happy as a pig in *****..2 weeks later and still nothing. So I called Ford myself, the girl I talked to seemed extremely confused and gave me the feeling that I was forgotten and lost in the system. She told me she was scheduling the engineer and I would deff. get a call within the week. That was 2 weeks ago. I got a letter from the BBB stating that all parties agreed on a repair and that my truck will be repaired and my case closed by Dec 1st. I just dont see this happening, considering no one has even looked at the truck yet. I am seriously considering to have my attorney get involved at this point. I hate to do it this way, but I need results and im really tired of being the nice guy, taking the back seat and doing everything they ask me to do and get nothing in return. Refresh my memory Delta...did you have a lawyer or did you do it with the BBB alone?

Talking 2004 Vibration

After 4 trips to the dealer with my 2004 FX4 vibe problems, I was told that I was a "testbed" case (Feb 2005). They replaced the entire rear axle.....the problem was completely fixed and hasn't come back in about 10,000 miles of driving.

Now the idle is extremely smooth. The tech told me that the new mounts

Hope this helps!
My truck went in today for this TSB. I was in last week and talking to the Service Manager, he called someone, found the TSB, and ordered my parts for the motor mounts. I received a note in the mail Sat. that parts were in. Now I just have to hope it works and My PCM is at the latest calibration already. If not its back to Troyer to get my XCal 2 re-tuned. Oh well its only money, right? I had to do it because I was starting to feel the rough idle even with the Tunes installed.

Wow, what a difference. Got my truck back last night with new motor mounts and a reflash on the PCM. The results are, the idle is SMOOOOOOTH infact the the whole drivability of the truck is better it seems, more responsive, the torque conv. unlocks at the touch of the throttle when in OD, it seems like a new truck. Now its back to Troyer to see what to do with my XCAL2 and getting it re-tuned to this latest update. At least I can enjoy driving with the stock tune until that is done
