Hey guys I bought a Audiophile headunit for my truck it has the 3 plugs in the back. I have the plug under my rear seat, and there is a plug behind the headunit that was taped up it is an 8 pin plug and i see that the sub plug that goes into the audiophile needs to be an 8 plug as well, but the plug does not fit into the back of the headunit. What is this plug for?? is there an adaptor or harness i need to plug this one into the headunit? Please help me out, i'm very frustrated Or is the Plug back there behind the dash burried or hidden?

i know i posted this 2 times, but the title on the other post was not very eye catching

 

I've read where there is a 'dummy' connector on that harness that needs to come off. Have you tried pulling anything off the harness? Hard to help without pictures. Also, if the dummy connector is not the issue, describe the wire colors that lead to the harness. I can see if they jive with the wiring diagram info within this forum.
