Soft bedcover...

Once again im in need of some help...im not sure if i should get the truxedo low pro or the tekstyle one that i havent heard much about. Do you like the bedcover to cover the top bed rails? Which do you prefer?

I have a Truxedo on mine and am really happy with it so far.

Here are some pics of it to help you pick the one you like the best:

I'll leave the rest linked...

Looking across the cover from driver's side:

Behind rear window:

That's a quarter to show how much the cover sticks up:

Inside when tailgate is closed:

And how it attached to the bed (I got a flareside. I think the standard side is a little different):

And the latch to lock the back down:

Can we see what it looks like when it's rolled up or popped open, whichever it does. Also, what is the cheapest it's listed for? Does it keep the water out very well?

It keeps out water really well. The only place I see water coming into the bed is around the left and right side of the tailgate. Haven't seen any place that the bedcover leaks. I've got a bedrug and I keep the bed full of stuff usually and am not having problems.

I'll charge my camera up and try to get a picture of it rolled up tomorrow as I don't have any right now.

I got mine from Autoanything. http://www.autoanything.com/products...aspx?p_id=1587

Here's my TekStyle. 04 FX4 SCrew. I special ordered a carbon fiber textured one. I bought a TekStyle cover for my first F-150 lease back in 01. Transferred that one to an 03 F-150. Took it off and sold it on eBay when I bought my 04. The first one looked as new as the day that I bought it so I went ahead and bought another one.

Everything is extruded aluminum. A+ quality. I bought mine at www.anythingtruck.com. Good people.

If you want specific pics, let me know and I'll take a couple closeups.

I've got the Truxedo Lo-Pro and don't have any leaks. I have a couple pics in my gallery as well but none with it rolled up so far and I can't take them now since it's dark outside. If nobody has responded by about 14:00 when I get back from work I'll take some photos with it rolled up for you.
Mine was $370 on eBay and it comes with a lifetime warrenty on everything.

If you can get past my truck being a Chevy, here are a couple pictures of the Truxedo Lo Pro. As mentioned above, the only leaks I have are around the right and left sides of the tailgate. Even in a downpour I have only seen maybe a couple of tablespoons of water per side. The Truxedo fastens with velcro and had a lifetime warranty. As far as rolling up it takes about 10 seconds. You pop a release next to the tailgate on the drivers side and just roll up (Since the Ford tailgate locks, this makes the Truxedo semi-secure). The roll takes up about 4-6 inches and is secured with nylon straps. Super product in my opinion.

The Truxedo uses Velcro. Some Extangs, depending on which noe you get, uses snaps instead. The Truxedo Lo-Pro also pulls completely taunt and level. You don't get the covered wagon look that some Extangs get.

I'd take either cover though. Personal choice.
