Need Help!!!

Well I posted this same question about a month ago and got a very few responses.
I have a very bad squeak coming from the front suspension. I have take it to the local suspension shop (because FORD would not work on it because of the lift) and they told me it would cost to much. They said there were a few other trucks here having the same problem, and recommened me to grease the ball joints and tie rod ends. So,i greased them about a week ago and no change in the squeak. So I am thinking about replacing them all. I need to know if the ball joints can be change alone or do the control arms have to be replaced also. Any help would be appreciated.
Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket control arms.

Not sure what your specific problem is but:
If it is strictly an up-down squeak then I would say control arm.
If it is a side to side or turning squeak then probably ball joints or tie rods.

My experience is that if you off-road dirt gets in the bushings of the control arms. No amount of washing will totally get that stuff out. All you can do is remove the arm and clean/replace bushings.

One other thing. If you have any polyurethane involved in your lift that may be the problem. (Poly spacers, bushings, etc.) The Poly sometimes tend to squeak after they break in. I think white lithium grease is good to keep down the noise.
Good luck...

Thanks Rich,
It is strickley up and down, so I will lub the bushings in the control arms in the next week or so.
