LT Door Handles

Hey Guys, I'm about to order the a set of Lincoln LT Door handles for my 2004 F-150. When you order the handles, I know they come with the painted bucket, but do they come with the chrome handle? or do you order them seperate? and does anyone know if the chrome handles are metal or are they just chromed plastic?

Has anyone painted the handle as well as the bucket? I am thinking about getting the LT handles but I like the handle to be bodyside color.

I ordered them in silver and painted them True Blue, and removed the handles from the buckets when painting, but left them chrome. I'm sure it would be just as easy to paint them while they are off. Here's a pic of my buckets when they were freshly painted and had no handles in them.

You should be able to, they look the same pretty much. But if you want to go that route it would be a lot cheaper to sand down the buckets of a set of stock handles and get them painted. If you want a set of handles to do this with so you don't have your truck torn apart while preping and painting the handles I have my stock ones W/ keypad that I can sell for cheap. I have a supercab so I only have 3 so if you need 5 then you will have to figure something out. Email me if you want them.
