Accessory Delay and Interior Lights

Accessory Delay and Interior Lights
Hello everyone, I've been reading your posts for about three months now since I've had my 2006 Lariat Supercab on order.
Well I just took delivery on Monday and so far I love it. I've always been a car/SUV guy, so I'm happy it has worked out so far. However I do have a question regarding the accessory delay and interior lights. While I've been playing around with the everything inside like the satellite radio and getting things in order, I see that the interior lights only stay on for about a minute with the door open and/or if you turn them on manually with the thumbwheel on the dash. Also, the accessory delay only seems to last about a minute. Both of these times are much shorter than all the other Ford cars I've owned and I find it both unusual and annoying. I did a search of the threads to see if this was discussed and all I saw was a mention of a 10 minute accessory delay. Maybe the lights turning off after a minute won't bother me anymore since I'm done playing with the goodies for now, but it seems very silly to be so short. It's so extreme that you can't even turn on the map lights or use the vanity mirrors after the lights click off unless you (1) open and close the door again, (2) turn the thumbwheel on and off again or (3) start up the truck.
Does everyone else have this same issue and if so, is there any way to increase the time on the delay and the interior lights? I doubt it, but I thought I'd ask since you guys seem to know everything else about these trucks!

Welcome nmjeff, we can always use another Jeff around here! 
Sounds like a really nice truck you have. The accessory delay should be 10 minutes but the interior lights do go off after 1 minute or so, don't think this is adjustable. Guess you just have to hit the thumbwheel like you said. Anyway, welcome to the gang and enjoy the ride!
