I think that it is a great feature on my truck. The only thing is that you have to keep them clean.

I just bought off of Ebay the reverse sensing kit. I hope to install this week. I ordered the 4 sensors and the display and the drill bit. I am installing on a 2004 XLT. I have the chrome bumper. That drill bit does not look like a bit used for drilling steel. Has anyone used the bit from them on a chrome bumper and was it an easy job.

Thanks in advance

I used it 3 weeks ago, the bit is a hole saw bit and it worked great. I put painters tape over the area I was drilling and it worked perfect. I got the 2 sencer kit with the display and love it. It works perfect.

05supercrew,

Where did you mount your display and was it difficult bringing the wires in from the rear of the truck.

I have not read the instructions yet and maybe it will be shown in there. I am just looking for everything I can to make the job go easier and faster.

Thanks

Everything was pretty easy. I tapped off the reverse light wire above the rear bumper (either side). mounted the brain in a water proof box right next to the spare tire above the frame. Ran the wires a long the frame to behind the drivers side rear door ( I have a screw) there is a rubber grommet underneth that leads right into the door track that just pops up. The track leads right under the front dash. Ran the wire to the back of the rubber tray on the dash closes to the windshield right in the middle. Looks great. I need to take picks. Some people here put it on there rear view mirror. Take your time and you should have no problems.
