Glad I could help. I have lots of little projects like this that I want to do and sometimes it takes somebody pushing me to do it. By helping you do this, I did mine to. Now I need to look into the electronic temp controls and see how hard it will be. I know its more sensors and I don't think the wiring harnesses are the same, but I am going to look into it and see how hard it really would be.

Well, asinatra said its possible and offered someone else to help. The link to that post is at the beginning of this thread. Now theres two of us to figure it out.

I finally ordered my switches to do this...I looked to see how to take out the cruise switches that are there and I cant see how to do this, can you please help me with that, thanks.

On the back of the wheel, the plastic trim box needs to be removed. It is held on the back of the wheel with four phillips head screws. Once you remove this trim, you will see four 8mm bolts that hold the cruise buttons to the wheel. Remove those bolts and you are good to go.

(Note: this is done with the wheel off of the truck)
