Very Nice! Now look what you have started! The price of these flow through consoles will double in price as we all do the same mod.

Thanks expy! I agree on that! Heck, the Ebay OEM leather seat covers have already gone up in price since I first purchased, probably in part to us site members!

As far as making the flow thru vents work, i think its as simple as an extra piece of duct. And as far as putting the shifter in place, that too is very do-able. Not the easiest thing ive ever done, but far from impossible. The wiring is fairly simple if you have any understanding of electricity. and the shifter itself is cable operated, so thats a piece of cake. I think the hardest part will be fabbing up something to finish it, like a couple others on here have. this is my first post, so I dont know how to add pics but im going to give it a stab.guess i aint smart anuff to do that. there is one pic in my gallery .

It sounds like you've done the full conversion? Can you post a link to your gallery? As far as posting pics, right click on your link to where your picture is hosted, click on the little yellow mountain icon above and paste your link in the box that pops up, or put all your pics in your gallery here and link us to it. I am very interested in how you did this or any info you have as I am sure a lot of others here would be as well.

Actually, that armrest on my new XLT center console came from the lariat flow thru console that I bought off of Ebay. I bought the flow thru console to get the nice armrest and the better looking trim. So.....I didn't actually cover the armrest, just bought the nicer one. Here's a link to the auction...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

Here a couple pics off my cell phone, The silver does match the vents. I'm just not sure if I'm going to keep the top covers silver, I might repaint them black

TCC, that looks great man I think the silver gives off a great contrast. All black miiiiight be a bit dreary, but either way, I like it and GREAT job! Amazing what a little spray paint will do for these XLT consoles.

TCC is that the flint console or the pebble one? it might just be the pictures but it looks really light... the sides look badass painted black. how do you like the flint interior with the dark leather seats?

how much work was it to replace the cloth with the leather, and how long would you say it took to do?

yeah, they have the kits on ebay for the ones without the rear armrest.

ebay auction for leather covers w/o rear armrest

yeah, i saw the same one, for $80 it could be a good parts piece, but i'd rather just find one thats exactly what i want... i've only been looking for a few days now so one is bound to pop up sooner or later.

That isn't quite right--those covers are designed for the armrest, it just isn't included in the auction.

These fit 2004-2005 Ford F150 crew cabs. Color is BLACK/DARK CHARCOAL.

Covers included are:
Front LH (driver) lower bucket
Front LH (driver) upper bucket seat back
Front LH (driver) headrest

Front RH (passenger) lower bucket
Front RH (passenger) upper bucket seat back
Front RH (passenger) headrest

Rear lower bench short (40 side)
Rear lower bench long (60 side)
Rear upper bench 1 pc
LH & RH rear headrests

How do you figure? The ones including the rear armrest read:

Rear lower bench short (40 side)
Rear lower bench long (60 side)
Rear upper bench 1 pc with rear armrest fold down cover
LH & RH rear headrests

you can view that auction here. (note the difference in pictures)
