On cold mornings, mine runs at about 2000 rpm for a few seconds, then drops... Normal operating temperature idles at about 600 rpm.

I dropped it off this morning but didn't get back from work this evening in time to pick it up. I'll pick it up tomorrow and post results.

on my tach, the 4 markings are in 250 incramints...when warm truck idels at 500 RPM...started cold, any where from 1500 to a 1000 Rpm...I can jump the tach up 500 rpm when driving before the truck even picks up speed...at 60 mph I'm at 1750 Rpm.
