Extra wire harness behind the front dash
Extra wire harness behind the front dash
Ok....In my FX4.....if you take the front plate of the dash that surrounds the radio and contains the A/C controls...there is an extra "wire harness" plugged into the plate for "nothing"......
....more specifically....it is on the black oval piece that contains the powerport.....it is "plugged" into a snap in piece on the passenger side of this oval piece but does not operate anything on the other side (the side which you see when it it all put together....
...I do not have a picture to be more specific at this time....but you guys are pretty smart and should be able to understand what I am talking about....especially if you have done any MOD that requires you to take this piece off to get to the space under the radio....
....Now...my question is WHAT IS THIS HARNESS FOR?

No that is not the one....
...I do not have the reverse sensors.....So I take it that there is a button of some sort there if I did have them?
....if this plug is for the reverse sensors....does that mean that I have all the wiring and such in place and all I would need to do is purchase a different black oval plate (one with the button) and the sensors?.....
Yeah, there is a button to turn the sensors on/off.
You'll need to check the rear to see if the harness makes it all the way back to the bumper.
