I LOVE my CD-6 with MP3, I'm sure there are plenty of aftermarket units that are better, but for factory, it ROCKS

Just a thought, have you tried local salvage yards? Sometimes, you can get a radio from a wrecked vehicle for what you would pay on EBAY by the time you paid shipping and all. If you found a place that had one, you could pull your old one out and possibly use it as a "trade-in" towards the other, plus you could try the new HU right there in the parking lot, so if it didn't work, no dice.

Like I said, just a thought.
