It had a turbo and was a 4x4 with a 2 inch lift under it with 22's.
He told me it will be on dealer floors in 2006.
Then I asked him how will it do against a Dodge truck with a viper motor and he said it will eat them up.
The picture here is not the same truck butI found it here and kinda looks like the front but had more chrome on the bottom, with a different hood and fender flairs.
The truck was tight & perfect not too much chrome but just enough, when the engine cranked up it shook the windows in the mall and a few alarms went off.
It was just sick,it was the best lookin truck I ever seen.Just wish the price tag was in my range.
p.s....not sure if it was a stx or something tx.
I doubt it! That hood looks so gay!

honestly that truck doesnt impress me that much. I guess it's the rims. I think a stock Lariat or FX4 looks nicer then take an extra 5-8K and do everything to it that they did to this one. (minus rims and hood)

Turbochargers on any vehicle are usually not very loud. They may whine a bit once they load up. Are you sure it was as loud as you claim?

So, you'd spend 58K on the truck, and then 58K per year on gas....is that right?

I actually got a great deal between family pricing, and additional rebates. I wanted a F150 and it came with alot of the upgrades. I would love to add upgrades to a FX4 or Lariat on my own, but it difficult to find shops in the area that would do all the upgrades that everybody here has.

There are soo many ideas and mods members have done its hard to keep track of. At the very least I'll open the ram air vents and add the ram air kit along with XCAL2 upgrade. It is difficult to throw a SC in considering the $$$, i guess its a fantasy..........

Of course, the real problem is what happens when you pull up against a viper motor truck that has been turbocharged. It's not like you will have an excuse when yours is turbocharged as well.

The FTX is a hot ride whichever angle you look at it from. A little to "jazzed" up for my liking, but nonetheless, a sweet looking ride. Beefy as a **** too.

The dealer here in VA had three FTX's on the lot while I was truck-hunting and I seriously considered one of them for about a day. I decided against it after much thought. The price was a little overkill for me too . . . even after Ford's Family Plan discount I just couldn't fathom the asking price.

One thing that clearly sticks in my mind is the exhaust tone/note was perfect for a truck as far as I was concerned. Sounded real sweet!

The funny thing is, those three are the only FTX's I've seen anywhere . . . . and they're still there!

The dealer hat 2 FTX's on his lot for about5 months before I bought mine and the other went within the same week in Aug. The sales person said that its hard in my area to find a buyer that wants all the upgrades and mods. I got about $13,500 off the truck and realy couldn't pass it up

The exhaust is sweet though and once the ram air vents open up it will really sound nice. I'm very happy with my truck and I don't think i'll ever go back to a car again. I previously had an Infiniti FX35, AUdi A6 and GP before that. Glad to be in a Ford TRUCK!
