ya im not too sure im 100% happy with my sale. I traded my 98 mustang GT in. it had a full DVD video and everything... i told them i wanted to just trade it in, their guy looked at it for about 10 mins and they gave me their offer. which i felt was resonable without the stereo. so i took it out. returned a few days later to pick up my truck. went through the whole "meet the service guy" "meet the sales manager" thing, (which i felt was VERY unorganized, but thats another story) got my keys and drove away. about 30 mins later the sales guy calls me and says there is a problem... there is no DVD player in it. i said no ****, i took it out. well this went on for a while, i said fine, i brought all the stereo gear back and left. well now they wanted to charge me to have it reinstalled... i flipped out. i couldnt believe it.

well to cut to the chase, i ended up having to put the stereo back in.. took me about 6 hours. i was NOT happy about it. Sales guy calls me about a week later "just wanted to see how the truck was.... i dont want any friction between us balh blah... dont forget to bring that survey in for that tank of gas...."

HA, they dont give two ****s about me, all they care about is that stupid survey.

anyways, that my story, i know its a bit choppy but you get just of it....

From: Georgia on my mind...
About a month later, my salesman calls, and wants to know why? I explained it to him, and instead of saying he's sorry, or explaining his point, he hangs up.
I sorta have a similiar story to tell.

I went to one of the local Ford dealers in town here on a Sunday to look around with any buzzard salesman floating around. Saw the truck I wanted, just delivered, not even PDI'd yet, still has the plastic and everything on it. Cool, so I drive down there the following Monday at lunch to tell 'em I'm interested in it. Dealt with the same guy I bought my Focus from, who was pretty square dealin' with me at the time. Get up a quick worksheet, take it to my credit union since I didn't really want to finance through Ford Motor Credit if I could avoid it.

I bounce back and forth a couple times between the credit union and the dealership, and when I finally get close to getting things finalized, I go to the dealer and the salesman tells me my truck was sold. Dammit. I really wanted a Lariat with a black interior and the floor shifter. So I go across the river to Auburn to another dealer, tell them what I want, they check other dealers' inventories and find a black Lariat Supercab with a black interior and the floor console. It's still at the dealer who told me it was "sold." VIN matched, options matched, window sticker matched. So, the dealer in Auburn called the other dealer, did a transfer, beat their price by about $1500 and I bought it from them.

Fast forward about a week later, when I show up at the first dealer in the truck they "sold." I asked the sales manager who titled this truck before me, since another salesman told me it was sold when I finally got through all the hoops of financing and whatnot. It's obvious I wasn't joking about buying it. For some reason or another, I'm not very welcome at that dealer anymore. Oh well, won't be buying any more vehicles from them.

i had some warranty work done on my truck, and it took 3 tries for them to fix the clutch on the a/c. so i gave them some below sat. ratings.. a couple weeks later the manager called and chewed out my dad cus it made them look bad on their quarterly rating or whatever
