How many Flareside owners we got here??

I had previously owned a 2000 F-150 Flareside Toreador Red. I was leasing it, so I am buying now, got myself a new one on June 13, 2005.

I now own a Silver Metallic F-150 Flareside 4x2 and designed a decal that says FX2 Street on the each side. I LOVE MY TRUCK!

So what made you want a flareside from the standard truck?

For me, I love the sportier look it gives off.

I will post pics soon.

Flareside owners speak out!

Where is the puking smiley when ya need one.

At least post pics of your truck, I hate the flareside myself, well I don't hate it, but it's much better without if you ask me, it looks too much like an anorexic dog at some angles (you know how underfed animals have a skinny back end/stomach)

I like the flareside a lot on the 4x2 trucks like ours. I do not really care for it on the FX4 or any 4x4 for that matter, especially the yellow ones.

I got a flareside because the truck had the color and options I wanted. If it had been a styleside, I would probably have bought it anyway. It is nice to have something a little different from the norm, though. The lost space in the bed really was not an issue to me. It will fit everything I need to haul.

Love my flareside. Just wish they had an Undercover tonneau cover for it.

I will always own a flairside, more sporty. Styleside has no style. My opinion

I've always known them to be "Step Sides", and I really like the steps.....but I don't care much for the tie-downs.

Is there a way to remove them, without leaving an ugly mounting spot?
