I just ordered my Century Royal on Thursday. http://www.centurycaps.com/royal_ford.php I'll post pics as soon as it gets here. I wanted the Fibrobec Prospector but in only comes with the slam latch rear door. You really can't argue with the simplicty & reliability of a handle on each side. I don't want anything taking up any of the rear visibilty which sucks as it is with that 9' tall tail gate.
I originally purchased an Extang Tuff Tonno III. It's ok but it's next to impossible to use in the winter. I've only once had anything in the bed that would not fit with the new cap on. I have a genuine need for a dry, secure (which the Tonno isn't) storage space in my truck. So for me, a cap was the only real choice. I considered a hard tonno but I couldn't remove it myself (I tried at the dealer) so it was out of the question. I also plan on towing a trailer a great deal for the next few years and a truck will tow better with a cap on it from an aerodynamic stand point.
& BTW, they are CAPS, not toppers (who came up with this term? It's retarded), not camper shells, etc.. CAPS...

If you paid $1800 for an ARE Z, on a 5.5' bed, you got ripped off & ripped off good. The most expensive I found for the Z for a 6.5' bed was $1600 + tax. Additionally, if you paid ANYTHING for installation, you got ripped off. The place I purchased my Century from tried to charge me for installation. I simply told them I would be more than happy to find a place that wouldn't. They gave me the clamps & tape for free after that.
