got this on ebay for $58 a pair including all the hardware bracket, bulb and socket.

also ebay $158 in perfect condition.

I like the new look now. But it's still not functional, I still have to find a way to wire it. I already have the switch with fog option. I want it to work as in factory. Still looking for a wiring harness.

Was it hard to swap the bumpers, or pretty straight forward?

It's pretty straight forward. All the holes from the nonfog bumper matches the hole in fog bumper including the ones in the valance. Also the bracket on the aftermarket foglight. I still use the same grill and valance. The only difference is the fog cut-out. Just get some help putting it back in the bumper cuz its heavy.

So there is a wiring harness change too? That is the type of thing I was wanting to know. So now I need the bumper, lights, switch and wiring harness...

I think I will cross this off the mod list.

Hey, so I'm tracking down the parts to add the fog lights to my XLT, too. Any word on the wiring harness? Also, did the lights off of ebay had factory plugs coming out the back?

Thanks

The fogs I got off ebay did not have the bulbs, just the housing. I needed the bulbs and the connector for the bulbs/wiring. THe connector was like $8 at PepBoys. Pretty easy.

Thanks for the response. Looks like the ones I've been looking at include the bulbs, brackets and housing. I'm now looking for a factory harness with interior switch that has the fog light option---I know I can splice the fogs into the parking lights, but I want a factory look.

Edit: What do you all think of this for the harness?
Ebay Harness

Thanks again

Sorry for the late response Grassman. Yes the fog light that i got from ebay has the bulb and the plug that comes with em. If i only have the prewired harness for the fog i can just plug it in. I called 3 different dealer about the wiring harness, i got quoted from $190 to $280. I told em that i dont need the whole electrical harness. Just the one for the fog." Dealer"
I've look over and under the truck still cant find the harness. Any body know where did ford hide that stinking wiring harness for fog with XLT package or they just dont have it.
About that harness in ebay. I wish somebody here more electrically incline can give us some more info.
Thanks

wow, I always thought that the fog light bumpers wouldnt fit. Every site that I looked on for a replacement bumper had them lissted seperately and said that they wouldnt interchange... hmmmm, I may buy the fog light bumper and the light housing and just paint the housings black. Thanks guys! You made my day!

Well, sometime this week I'm going to get in touch with my contact at the dealership. Hopefully, they might have a solution for the harness. This is going to be an expensive mod anyways:

bumper--------------------------$291.11 + ~$75 shipping
fog lights------------------------$69 + 15.85 shipping
factory switch with fog option----$74.75 + shipping
mystery harness???--------------$who knows

thanks
