Went to the local dealer today and they want $83.00 for a Ford OEM bug deflector. He said that was installed, and didnt seem to want to give me a price without installation, just said it was about the same. They were a little too pushy about it so I left. Just wondering if anybody had one and what they paid. Also, are they all the same or is there a low profile deflector?

Go to www.parts.com and put in the Ford part number, which you can get from the Ford website - www.fordaccessoriesstore.com They list the high profile for $77.90 and on parts.com you can get the same thing for $58.43. Play around and you can find a few things for much cheaper than you would get from Ford.

 

Bought one today, $64 + tax. Pay the 83 to have it installed. After fighting this damn thing for an hour, I would have gladly paid that and been done with it.

 

I paid $40 plus $15 for shipping from a Ford Dealer on eBay. I believe the store name is Preston's Accessories.

 

I got mine for $45 on ebay. It's the low profile ford OEM one.
