06 LT fog lights - Rectangular

I saw an 06 LT in the airport yesterday and noticed that they kept the rectangular fog lights instead of going to round. I guess they think it looks more sophisticated.

could also be an availability issue with the bumper/foglight supplier.

Maybe you will start seeing round flogs in a few months or mid-model year

It could be that the 06 LT came out just a little bit after the 05 F150.....same bumper and foglights

A friend of mine is a manager at a Ford/Lincoln dealership. Supposeably the LT is sticking with rectangular lights to differentiate from the F150. This is what he found out about future model designing.

Odd. A local dealer I service has one with the square ones and one with the rounds. honestly I think the rounds look better on the LT and the squares on the 150

Your right, that was stupid of me. They have been around so long though that I forgot they weren't 05's.

Bob your truck looks great, the silver goes well with that grill. Did you paint the lower part of your mirrors as well?

no actually i have TFP chrome mirror caps, they only cover the top of the mirror, so from 20 ft away it looks just like the lincoln mirrors, and for a WHOLE lot cheaper
