Truck Pulls Left Under Braking
Has anyone else had this problem or maybe have a solution? My truck after 20 miles of driving each day developes a pull to the left under semi heavy braking. It doesn't do this in the morning so I think it might be heat related. Ford put on the new "Improved" rotors and I put on Porterfield pads, this was all done about 2k miles ago. The pull just recently started. Any ideas?
Check your tire pressure on the side it pulls to, just to be on the safe side. These trucks are heavy, and the added front end squat during braking could load up an already low tire, and cause a pull. Sounds more like you are getting more braking on one side, but it's worth a shot...
No lights on the dash I suppose (ABS, etc)?

Do you think heat could cause this? Like I said It works fine until things start to heat up.

Anything is possible. Keep in mind that as things heat up, they tend to expand. So after driving, if you dont have enough grease on your caliper sliders, it could be sticking and hanging up causing it to pull to one side under braking conditions.

I have had similar issues... I am assuming that there is no brake biasing control on our trucks. Is this correct? Or even worse, am I confusing front-rear brake biasing with my own fiction of left-right biasing?
That ABS light coming on sends up a red flag. I wonder if it stored a code when it did it. There is a "proportioning valve" in the ABS system that balances pressure during heavy stops. This keeps the brakes from locking (hence the name), and it is responible for that little propeller noise you hear whenever you have to stop that three tons on a dime. That light makes me think trip to the dealership to let them check things out... better safe than sorry.

P.S. It did not store a code I already checked for that
