Hood Shield flew off.

Hood Shield flew off.
Had the dealer install a factory hood shield when i bought the truck.
This morning, on my way to them for a state inspection and stuff, it decided it didn't want to be on any longer and flew off, scuffing my headlight covers and a couple of 6-8" long scratches in the rear door.
Dealer said he never seen one of these fly off in all his years in business.
Anyone else have this happen?
The thing looks to only be held on with 2 little clips and pinched behind the grill.
Does anyone know of another manufacturer that may attach them differently?
Lasted 7500 miles before coming off.

Thats the first time i have seen that on this forum.
On the other end of the spectrum my bug guard was fastened to tight and i have a chip in the paint on each side. Taking it in tomorrow to the shop that installed it.
