Ford recommends BP gasoline.

I was checking out some 2006 F-150s this evening and just happenend to open the fuel door and printed on the gas cap was "Ford recommends BP gasoline" along with a BP logo. I have never seen anything like this and thought it was kinda strange for them to be advertising for a gasoline company. They must be getting paid for it.

they are most likely getting paid for it or they own a stake in the company.

Thumbs down

After 9/11/01 BP stations around here were some of the first ones to raise their gas prices sky-high. I don't care who recommends them, I'll never buy BP!

Now why did you have to try and bring politics into this thread? What a bunch of BS!

A BP station in town jacked their prices up to $5.00/gallon when Katrina first started stomping through on the rational that "that's what people in Atlanta are paying, that's what I can get too." Everyone else in town was hovering around $2.80-3.09/gallon.

I don't care what they endorse, I won't buy a drop of fuel from a BP associated station again.

Sunoco.
If it's good enough for NASCAR, it's good enough for your car!
