I will put Chevron in my truck 99 percent of the time. The other 1 percent is whatever I can find when I need it most.

Techron really does make a difference. I was taking a friend out to lunch today and she was amazed that my engine didn't make a sound or vibration whenever we were at red lights. She thought I had stalled on two occasions because it was running so quietly and smoothly.

BP is crap. I have a family member that works for Exxon, and he says that BP is always pulling shady stuff up there in Alaska. I won't buy from them.

Not to mention, there aren't a whole lot of them anyway around Ft. Worth.

I know that BP used to be one of the "worst" gas stations as far as fuel quality. But, at the time amoco was rated tohe highest.... Then the two merged to become BP with Amoco fuels... so... i never knew what to think after that.

And about techron making oyur truck run smoother.... Nevermind....

BP is iffy at best. CITGO has the most consistently highest BTU content

For those of you in the southeast (like myself) when Katrina hit two of the pipelines that transport gasoline from the gulf were disrupted and of course we all know what happened. Anyway I got interested in where our gas comes from and thought some of you might want to take a look at this.

Colonial Pipeline's FAQ's

It's my understanding the base gasoline is the same for everybody, but BP, Exxon, Citgo, Hess, etc put in their own detergent/additive packages. Of course the best gas in the world stored in store tanks that are prone to take on water equal a problem. If you have a reliable source of gasoline that causes you no problems stick with that station. Just my 2 cents.

How does he have time to buy oil futures when he's been busy causing all these hurricanes?!

I agree with 04 RED Lariat, Chevron THE BEST. !!

188,000 miles without cleaning the injectors, this gas works.
