tires and a lift. what kind?

i have an 04 2wd supercab f150. what is the smallest lift i can get to fit 35" tires? also what kit comes with a bigger lift in the front to level it out?. any info would help. thanks guys

You may be able to fit 35's with a 3 inch body lift or 3 inch Skyjacker, but it will be close. The 6 inch Fabtech and Pro Comp kits, and most others come with a lift block to level the rear of the truck.

i have a 3" body plus leveling kit, and i still had to trim for 35's (thats on a fx4 i can imagine on a 2wd)

I have 35x12.5R18 with just a 2 inch leveling kit and have not rub and no cutting

The reason you have no rubbing is because you are using the stock FX4 wheels, but to answer your question honestly it all depends on the backspacing of the wheels you choose. I had to do some trimming even on mine with a 6" fabtech lift. What ever you do, im sure you will be happy with the 35's.

Exactly. The wheel width and backspacing are as important to fitment as tire size.
