3" Skyjacker with 285/70/17's
3" Skyjacker with 285/70/17's
Hello Everyone
I have an 04 Scab FX4 and i was thinking of going with the skyjacker kit and running 285/70/17's with some aftermarket wheels. I was wondering if any of you think this size of tire is too small. I dont want a wide tire, because they seem to push snow instead of plow through it. Any comments would be great
Thanks

That's pretty much the same size as the stock tires. A 3" lift with stock tires would look pretty silly IMO, but that's just my opinion. It's your truck. If you want a skinny tire, that's fine, but atleast get a bigger diameter.

I have got a 2 inch leveling kit and 285/70/17 MT/R's by Goodyear. They also make a 305/70/17 which is a little bit bigger and wider. I would go for a bigger tire.. they even look a little small on my truck.

your truck looks shiny did you wax it? if so what kind of wax did you use?
back to the topic.. I just have the leveling kit and running 33x12.5 pro comps on 17x10 inch rims. if your going to get the 3 inch lift go 35's or close to it. not sure how wide your going to go or if your going to use stock rims. just my 2 cents
