So on the way home I see an 06' on the local dealers lot and decide its time someone takes some pictures of the real thing and stops all the nonsense about whats different and whats not. Ive heard so many things its not funny. This is an 06 SCAB FX4 package. From what I can see the only real differences are the front bumper design and the round fogs...which I like A LOT..it looks cool in person, The chrome steps look like they're made by Westin and just stamped Ford and the headliner has some pretty funky shape to it. Ive never seen an 05 but my 04 is as smooth as can be..Look at the pictures, you'll see what I mean. The only other thing I see, is that it doesnt have a sun roof or a rail system, which I thought it had to have one or the other, but it has one overhead storage bin and then midway back it has an interior light. Oh yeh, the rear wheel wells are finally covered. Its kinda hard to see in the pictures, but when I look at mine, I can see the frame and chasis and everything else under there. THe 06 is all covered and all you can see is the metal part of the bed. So hope you all appreciate this, I looked like a real fool out there taking pictures of a truck thats just like mine while people drove by staring at me.

Looks like the only difference is that lower front bumper. Not enough difference for me to want to trade...yet. Of course, with only 10,000 miles on my truck, I should be good for at least seven or eight more years! Thanks for the pictures Brew!

Nice pics. Looks about the same as my '04 except for the fog lights(which I do like better). That headliner is kinda funkadelic though, whats up with that?

The rail system is an option.
In my '05 supercrew I don't have the rail or a moonroof. It just comes with one overhead compartment.
