strange dragging noise....

So I start up the truck and drive a few blocks and then I hear what sounds like something getting caught under the truck and dragging it. It was some banging and what sounds like im dragging a hub cap or something.

Thing is this is the 2nd or 3rd time I hear this. I stop look under the truck and nothing. I check all 4 wheels and nothing. I keep driving and it's okay. It last a few seconds.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have a SCrew FX4.

Fords are just known for thier heat shield issues, if you buy one save yourself the trouble and just take it off right away.

Did you take yours off? And any problems ever since, just asking cause it is there for a reason? Right.
