F150 Weight

Anyone know where I can locate my truck's weight? The bathroom scale wouldn't do it!

Well, to use the bathroom scale, you have to set it in the middle of the floor and then lift the truck before stepping on the scale...

OK, there are probably better sites, but I use Edmunds.com, look up the truck
and in their specifications they list curb weight head room, dozens of useful bits.

Shipping weight on your truck is approx... 5248 LBS.

If that helps any; you would know unless you took it to a truck scale.

If jimmyb04stx weight nubers are right, which I don't think is right, because if he is right then my 04 SuperCrew Styleside 5.5 ft bed, 5.4-liter, 4x4 is heavier than my friends 04 SuperDuty, Supercab 6 3/4ft bed, 6.0-liter Turbo Diesel, 4x4. He weighed his truck at hes friends Autoshop and I can't remember the exact weight, but it was around 6,400 some odd lbs, damn our (F-150) trucks are heavy.

As I understand it, jimmyb's numbers are the maximum wieghts. My truck has a 7200lb rating meaning if it weighs 6140lbs, I have 1060lbs of cargo/people capacity.
