I have seen the BFG M/T in 35x12.5-18 on the factory rims and they looked pretty sweet. I am not sure if they are running a lift or just a spacer lift, but it looks great!

Then go with ProComp Xterrain...I've had BFG M/T & A/T's and the Xterrain out performs both of the BFG's. I get at least 45K miles out of them, they have an aggressive look and GREAT off road! Since they are ProComp...you know you can get an awesome deal (i.e., buy 3 get 1 free). Also, since they are a directional tire, they handle better and not as loud on the pavement.

ProComp also has the new Extreme A/T (not to get confused w/ their regular A/T). They have the thicker sidewall and have a great look but on an A/T. By all cost, AVOID their regular A/T & M/T!!!!!

Well, I know my tire dealer personally. Plus I've bought some tires from him before for my '93 f150 and he's ended up having to allow me some money on a new set due to premature wear, so I think he understands that I want a good tire and he's not going to try to sell me something based on any kickbacks he might receive. His shop is covered up every day, so he doesn't have to be recommending the tire company that is paying big kickbacks just for that reason. Plus he knows I'll go somewhere else if necessary. I'm from a small town, so it's good in that way because people are actually still honest for the most part.

Anyway, I have heard him talk well of BFG's before, he sells them in his shop. I've heard from a friend a couple of years ago w/ the BFG A/T that he got about 50k miles off of them on his nissan. I am running the Toyo A/T right now on my '93 f150 and they have a 60k mile manufacturer's warranty. They look good, fairly agressive tread, are smooth, and are fairly quiet for an A/T. They run/channel the best I've ever had in rain and water when brand new, but watch out when they get over 1/2 worn down, they get a little more slippery than I like. Bad news is that even though alligned and everything, my '93 wears tires out quick for some reason. I've only got 30k on the tires and they are getting pretty worn, so I'll have to take up the warranty. I'm not sure if Toyo puts any of those warranties on their M/T tires or not. My tire dealer loves the Toyo brand, he runs the A/T also and I think actually got 60k out of a set on his chevy truck. But I have also read on here that the Toyo M/T tire is a very, very heavy tire compared to the other M/T's out there. I've never seen them on a truck in real life or talked to anyone w/ them though. Either way, I think Toyo is a dependable brand.

Some tires that would be cool:

The New Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZ; they dont come in a 37 but they do have 36x15.5x18 and 38x15.5x18, you could keep your rims with these

BFG Krawler KX a super sticky tire, looks cool, I have only seen them on one vehicle, I assume horrible tread life and expensive. But you would be one of the only ones with them. they come in a 37x12.5x17

Parnelli Jones Dirt Grips: These are also tires that look cool big, they also have poor tread life but the are a very versitle tire they come in a 37x12.5x17

I am not a big fan of Pro-Comp tires, I Know a guy that had 38's on a screw and now he switch to nitto mt because the x-terrains didnt hold up. But a lot of other people are happy.

If you want a mud terrain and dont care about noise, get super swamper boggers, 37x12x17, they are a kick a$$ mud tire have decent tread life and can go any where. They are loud and ride rough but you would be the only guy with them.

But if you have narrowed it down to toyo and nitto (dam imports) I would choose the toyo, I like the hooks.

just my .02

Im not switching to a different rim or different size rim so that cancels out a lot of those tires. Im still debating on 35s or 37s. Im going to be debating it until the day I order everything.

I wouldn't buy anything off of the internet due to the new f-150's stiff frame and dependence on a tire that measures low on road force balancing. I would go with a local shop.

Im definatly not ordering my tires on the internet, I just meant ordering them because I doubt any tire place around here is going to have what I need.

Hey, thumper, when you decide on what tires you are getting, give "Tire Barn" on st road 60 a call, tell them Bo Fisher sent you, i bet they will beat any tire price you can find. They are awesome! They are located in Lakewales Fl, so it might be a little drive for you, but they saved me 120$ on tires last time

Discount Tires Direct has them cheaper than any of those links by $15+, use them if price is your concern.

Not sure on the Terra Grapplers selection but the Mud Grapplers selection is second to none, I look at tires a lot and for best prices and that is the best I've found. Maybe it will help someone.

And they have a huge selection of Terra Grapplers:

By the way, I too am looking for tires. I need Irok, Swampers (any model swampers), or something very good in mud that looks very aggressive and has aggressive sidewalls (like the baja claws and Irok's). They need to fit a 22" rim though, which is where my problem lies, do any of these fit 22's. I found Irok's that fit 20's so I bet they may fit 22's on another site.

I am looking for 36" and up.
