www.customwheelsdirect.com has the best prices I have seen anywhere on Toyo M/Ts. They have the 35x12.50x20 Toyo M/T for $330 a tire. They also have tons of diffrent Rims. Free shipping on package deals... but if you are just getting tires, shipping might be expensive because they are in Cali.

I talked to my long time tire dealer about tires the other day. He can get any tire I want and he doesn't discriminate between brands. I asked him how good nitto's were since I am interested in getting the terra's or the mud grapplers. He said he's never seen a nitto tire wear very well and that he doesn't feel like they're a good quality tire. I think they look awesome though. But a new tire that looks about as good is the mickey thompson MTS?? I think. I know it starts w/ an M, may be MTA.

I've got nitto terra grapplers on my Dodge Cummins. I don't like them much. They wear real fast and they feel like they are out of round. I've heard real good things about Toyo MT.

Im just trying to get a idea of how much tires are going to cost thats all. In everyone's opinion which tire would you go with Toyo M/T or the Nitto Mud Grappler? I want something thats going to look good and last. I know thats wishful thinking but I've heard mixed responses from a lot of people about the Toyos and the Nittos.

I think you will hear mixed results on almost every tire. I have bfg at's and like them but was considering getting the nittos terra graplers to try something differant next time arround. I have herd many guys say that bfg's wear quickly and many who say they get 50 to 60 thousand miles out of them. I think they wear about average and perform well. you should consider the bfg's also. I would be interested in what higdogg's tire dealer says about the bfg's. oh and if a tire dealer can get a certain brand cheaper and mark it up more than another brand he will push that brand more. so it dosn't matter if he can get any brand its who gives him the biggest profit. you will find nittos a little cheaper than the bfg's but the bfgs might be a little better quality it is hard to tell when they are vary similar. I think I might just try the nitto's so I can compare the two. then again I have lately been hearing alot of good things about the toyo's so I think I will start researching that tire to see if I might like it too.

Alot of guys here in cen cal run trxus sts's because of their long life on the streets and excellent performance in the sand, its the tire you either hate or love.

go with the toyo's, unless you plan on doing most of your time offroad, these nittos are loud as hell, i am going to get them ground force tested to get rid of the hum, i will keep you posted. also i got a steller deal on my tires off ebay, so if your not in a big hurry keep your eyes open and search till you find a good deal

I think the toyo looks like a better tire, I personally think it looks more aggressive and more versital.
And those truxus have NO tread life!!! I know many people with them and they just dont last.

The Nitto Mud Grapplers are definatly one of the most aggressive tires so I can see why they're loud.

Do they make a 35/37x18" BFG M/T?

wakebordlf

How long have you had them and how are they wearing?
