Check out www.hottexhaust.com with coupon code fordtruck8

I bought the Magnaflow 15827 for $409, the system you want with coupon and free shipping is $393.48

Good luck!

Yes, www.hottexhaust.com is the way to go as far as cost. I got a SISO (w/ coupon code) for around $365 shipped very fast and well packaged.

I have the same truck as Matt above. From anybody who has this set-up, I would like to know, how long did this take you to install, what tools did you use? Did you run into any problems along the way?

Also, be sure to check out our Supporting Vendors including Troyer Performance which sells the Maggie kits as well.

It may be to your advantage to see if they would match a price... just FYI!

Hey quick question for you guys...i have a build date of 03/04 which is an early model. This is the exhaust i want and it says it only fits late 04 and 05 models. I assume i wont work then? how much did they change within the first year? I actually wanted duals straight out the back...that first website was the side exit.

I came home and the box was sitting there in the yard and it was on the truck in about 30 minutes! For me, the hardest part of the whole install was getting that darn pontoon to come off (the old exhaust ). I lubed up all of the rubber hangers and actually took 2 of them off where they bolted on the truck. The hangars are held by 10mm bolts I believe, and the big nut that holds the factory clamp on is about a 15mm. Just take a few of the hangers off and if you can get the rubber to pull out and away from the piping on any of them, you don't have to unbolt them, but I had to unbolt the front most one, and the one behind that. The rear one slipped off so I didn't take it off. Once those are out of the way, get a hammer and whack at the front of the muffler towards the rear to slide it off of the front section of piping. Once it falls off, just finagle (sp?) it around the rear axle and you now are half way to making your own DIY pontoon boat . The new exhaust goes on VERY easy since it is in like 3 or 4 sections. I put the whole system on loosely and went back and bolted it into place once it was all lined up right. It seemed pretty easy to me, and I did this in my gravel driveway with the truck sitting on the tires.

EDIT: oh and when I got all the hangers off, I supported the rear of the exhaust with a 5 gallon bucket turned upside down while I whacked at the front so it wouldn't sag down so far.

actually you don't hammer the muffler section off, or you'll be hammering for awhile and break something.......

After you've loosed all of th scews and unscrewed all the hangers......You turn the whole exhaust counter clockwise to unlock it from the stock pipe in front of the muffler.. there is a bolt that is in a slot and you have to turn to line it up before you push the exhaust out....

I did this and then kicked the muffler off from the front...
