2" drop shackes

Who makes the 2 inch drop shackles for a 2005 F150? Can I put these on myself or do I need a shop to do it? Thanks for your help!

I used DJM but there are several brands available. Installation is simple and can be done in your driveway in less than an hour; all you’ll need is a couple of wrenches and a jack stand or equivalent. Wait until you have both sides done and the truck back on the ground before you do the final tightening of the four bolts; don’t over-tighten

Most of the kits come with instructions

Why not just remove the 2" blocks that are in the truck from the factory?

If you're interested, drop me an e-mail and I can send you a "photolog" that I compiled while installing my GroundForce shackles. A fairly easy install if you're at all mechanically inclined!

I used 2" DJM shackles on my '04 Supercab:

DJM makes them, Ground Force does, Belltech, and I think H&R just recently released 1-1/2" rear shackles. Stylin' Concepts has the DJMs and Ground Force shackles in stock. Ain't really nothing to installing them, just be advised, on some trucks you may get a vibration during acceleration because the pinion angle changes. Ground Force includes pinion shims for this, DJM doesn't, and I don't think Belltech or H&R does. Won't know if this will apply to your truck until you try. I had a low speed vibration on acceleration from 30-40 mph, until I raised my shackles up to the 1-1/2" hole. The vibration ain't no where near as bad as it was at 2", but it's still noticable. I'll shim it someday, but for now I ain't gonna worry about it.
