24" wheels ... need pics and advice !!

I know Ram SS/T has 24" wheels that looked nice ....
Anyone else have 24" wheels, pics and ANY advice ??

Thinking about doing 24" in back and 22" in front ... truck is getting to the point where I think I can get some wheels for free or really cheap and I might have the oppertunity to get my truck in SEMA in a few months ...
REALLY looking for any pictures or insight anyone has ...

THANKS in advance !!!

22's or 24's would look great on your truck, but I don't think I would mix them.

If the truck makes it into SEMA ... they want it to look "hot rodded" ... hence the 24" in the back and 22" in the front. I saw several trucks at SEMA who had done it last year and it looked really good. Will try and go as wide in the rear as possible as well.
Just started doing searches for 24" wheels but there doesn't appear to be a lot that fit our trucks ... MORE sesearch required !!

I think you should get 24's front and back, maybe just a fatter and wieder tire in the rear

Here's some pictures of a couple F150's on 24's

I think your truck has too much of an even stance to go with the larger diameter rear wheels. With as low as it is, I would personally go with 22's, but 24's would look sweet if you picked the right wheel. I like big rims, but too big really can hurt the overall appearance of your ride IMO.

Good luck with getting your ride in SEMA, keep us posted!

Thanks 05RoushMarkLT

Think I'm going to try and get the Foose Spank6 wheels in 24" for the rear and 22" in the front. I can get 10" wide in the rear then ...

I know a lot of you are saying not to stagger the wheels but I have seen it done on two or three of the hottest trucks last year and it would fit more into the "hot rod" theme for them .. assuming I get choosen !!

Will keep everyone posted .... NOW I have a lot of work to do ... have to replace the door handles with the color matched ones ..., tint the windows, get the stripes painted ... etc !!! Anyone good for a small $8,000 loan ??

I think 24's will look fine on your truck since it was a Super Crew. I agree, it's all about proportion. If you had a standard cab, I would have said stick with 22's.

they look like matchbox trucks to me, the wheels look like they are on the wrong vehicle, especially on a 4x4!! Sorry Dudes just cant stand the look of those big wheels and no sidewalls. To each his own!

I think that most staggered (22/24) trucks are on air bags and they arent able to tuck the 24s up front. A 2inch difference is quite a lot.
Besides if you go with all 24s you can still rotate them.

At any rate as you know I have had 24s for about a year now and I am still very pleased with them....you would not believe how many people everyday at redlights try to read the tires to see what size they are. I would have to say if I had it to do again I would have went with 26s though.

Check out my gallery for some pics.

04Lariat05kr thanks for puttin me up

ey CRF250Racer, what part of SD you from? cuz if you really want cheap 24's go to Joe's Tire Shop in Market St. and the other shop in El Cajon. the homie got his 24" Akuza rims for 2500 w/Pirellis and they carry alot Foose rims. you gotta be ready to bargain with those guys but its worth the trouble and be sure you know what type of wheel specs you want cuz they throw anything on there.
