Your both welcome and I'm pretty much leaning on getting 24's myself.
Oasis Titan wheels on Kumho Ecsta STX 305/35-24.

Thanks, for your help RamSS/T and don't feel left out because I didn't put your pic up. CRF250Racer did mention he had already seen your's.

ey CRF250Racer, what part of SD you from? cuz if you really want cheap 24's go to Joe's Tire Shop in Market St. my homie got his 24" Akuza rims for 2500 w/Pirellis and they carry alot Foose rims. you gotta be ready to bargain with those guys but its worth the trouble adn be sure you know what type of wheel specs you want cuz they throw anything on there.
Thanks for the info ... Will have to check them out !!

Mine is stock up front and I have 1.5 in DJM shackles in the back. I had them in the 2in hole (there is a 1.5 and a 2in hole on the DJMs) but it made it look like it was squatting...but the 1.5 looks just right.

DJM 2.5 front/5 rear. im lifting the rear an inch up. that metal inner-lining in the fender is slowly slicing my tires

CRF250Racer, which windows are you trying to tint? and have you found a tinting shop? if not, check Hot Spot at Broadway in downtown Chula Vista

Yea, get the DJM Hangers, and put the stock shacles back. I'm at 2.5/4 now, much happier with it. I may go back to 5 when thay come out with a good helperbag kit.

I've got a MC GAUGHYS 2/4.5 drop up forsale now, if someone wants it.

thats exactly what the DJM Tech guy said, use the stock shackle and then change the location of the spring hanger or something like, forgot what he said already. just got off the phone with him about ten minutes ago

CharlesA ... No idea you were slicing through the rear tires with a 5" rear drop !! I thought this was going to be a slam dunk on the 24" rears ...
I have a 5" flip drop as well and now I had better look into that. On the positive side ... I JUST got the e-mail from Summit Racing and the helper air bags have shipped so this may not be a problem in the long run. I ordered them about a month ago and they have been on back order. I'm guessing I can just add a little more air in the bags if the tires come to close to the inner fender BUT I still want a level stance when it is all said and done.

Oh, and thanks for the info on the window tinting. Do you remember what they charged you ?? Just looking to do the driver and passanger side fronts to match the back.
Thanks

that's sick that you got a bag kit for the rear that will the option to raise it during travel and just let it drop when your parked. i was thinking about doing the same thing, but then i would be tempted to just bag the whole thing haha.

with the window tinting place, their prices change up depending on what time of the year it is. i was charge 125 to limo the whole vehicle. but prior to that i had the front windows tinted to match the rear at Audio Excellence on Bonita Rd. for $75 . the tint did not match the rear (it was greenish) and i didnt wanna bother going back because i wanted all the windows darker. both shops offered lifetime warranty on installation but Hot Spot also offered lifetime on the tint (if the tint begins to purple of peel they'll cover it).

i noticed you removed the license frame from the front, you havent been pulled for it? and did you replace your stock headlights or did you just remove the amber piece on the side?i might have to do the same thing...

Not quite what you are thinking on the air bags. I'm not doing the on-board compresser ... and the bags are only FireStone airbags that are like helper springs. Will help keep the truck level for towing bikes to the desert or just raising the rear end slightly. Will all have to be custom fabed to work with the 5" drop in the rear. Hope to have it done one day next week ??

Lucky to have never been pulled over yet. The last three vehicles in five years without a front plate and I have never been pulled over for it. Maybe just lucky ?? Thanks for the info on the tint.

Headlights are off e-bay. They are o.k. as far as lighting goes for reg beam and the high beam is pretty good. Would do the HID but it is JUST TOO much trouble and $$

Have you ever thought about shaving the handles? What about painting your mirrors? Just throwing out some ideas!

Wanted to do BOTH of those things a while ago but thought it would be TOO much $$ .... Was told by SEVERAL people that shaving the door handles on the F150 is a NO-NO. Metal is too thin and you can see riples in the doors after it is all said and done. Talked to a guy who had done it (Does GREAT work) and he said never again with the F150. Also want to smooth the mirrors ... MAY still do that when I get the stripes painted. Also need to find the time to get the painted door handles installed. May just end up having to pay someone to do it as I don't seem to have ANY free time. Thanks for ALL the suggestions though !!!!!
