Yep, same problem with the pauses on my Audiophile in my 05 FX4. And mine will also reset the CD back to track 1 occasionally when I shut it off...But man, gotta love that subwoofer! Best sounding Ford stereo I have ever had!

My brand new '06 Scab Lariat without the subwoofer, but with the changer/mp3 setup, does just the same thing. That's why I did a search and found this thread. I'm looking for some kind of fix (outside of aftermarket). I haven't poured over the manual (yet) to see if there's some kind of setting to fix this rather annoying quirk.

Only thing I found to "somewhat" remedy the problem was to activate the "Compression" feature on the CD Player. This helped a little, but the issue is still there.

I think these head units are just crap, IMO of course. I'm waiting for the changer mechanism to fail next ....

This is probably a very easy firmware "Flash".

If we could get in contact with someone at the manufacturing company, and describe the problem, I'm sure they could come up with a fix in very short order.

:santa:

Delphi built these radios, so we're lucky they work at all. Mine pauses every now and then between tracks, it's only annoying to me on CDs where all the songs flow into each other when the track changes. I listen to mostly MP3s, and I don't have any hesistations there though. Mine will occasionally revert to track 1 on whatever CD it was playing if I flip to radio or if I turn the headunit off.
