I felt the same way as you about "keeping it stock" until I got blown away this morning by a convertible PT Cruiser GT...now I MUST get exhaust, tuner, and intake...and I am even considering a blower once the warranty expires! Never again!

The only problems I had with the Gt was the MP3 player skipped on the outer tracks of some discs. It was the shaker 1000. That is what I had it in for the day I decided to trade. I do miss the Shaker though. It make the stereo in this truck sound like an AM radio playing though a tin can. The stang was a sweet ride. I Hope to get a Shelby GT500 when they come out next year.

Speed is my drug of choice. I'd mainline it if I could! Theres no such thing as fast enough. I just want to be faster than the hemis before to long.
ya I am going to put some window tint over it tomorrow, I looked at it today and figure I will have to cut some small strips and go around it then over it. The weather here has been very bad all summer. thunder storms every afternoon. I hate having autolamps and still having to turn them on even as dark as it gets. Someone should make a tinted cover that would fit over the top of it and come in different degrees of tint.

I do kick myselt at least once a day for trading the GT though.

I want then to come on during rain storms. We have one almost every afternoon. It gets pretty dark, but lights dont come on. It rained all day today, its hurricane katrina (my wifes name) I have a feeling tomorrow will be rough. I studied the problem today. I attemped the tint but the surface is too curved to make it look right. So my next solution is to try either a magic marker or some sort of paint.

I dont want to use anything opaque. I do want them to be off in the sunlight.

I'm guessing the price on the 07 GT500 will be about 5 - 10 grand over sticker for the first year. I enjoyed being the first kid on the block with the 05GT, it was like being a movie star. But the 07 will have to wait until they are willing to sell for sticker or at least close. Its going to be the finest Mustang ever produced and I cant wait to turn one loose.

easiest thing to do and it does wonders for daily driving is tint the windshield 30% you can look at mine in the gallery. Mine actually comes on a little to early because with the tint the sensor is fooled
