newb Question

After many years of owning and driving modded Mustangs I traded my Satin Silver 05 GT Loaded for this great 05 silver Fx4 Supercab. I told myself that I would keep it stock. ya right. as soon as my stang mods sell on ebay Troyer will be getting a call. I figure Xcal 2 and AF1 to start with.

Here is my question.

I have the auto light feature but it has to get very dark before they come on. Is there any way to adjust the amount of light it takes to triger it. I have a thaught that I could put a piece of window film over the sensor but I dont know where it is located. In addition I want to have DRL I saw the articale in the tech section but I dont know if it applies to the 05s.

thanks in advance
Steve

I don't think there is a way to adjust it. Window tint would work, I've heard of people putting a piece of tape over the sensor to. Either thing would work.

BTW

Congrats on the new truck, I don't know if I could have traded a new mustang for it though.

If you created a gallery you copy the image location of the picture you want to insert from the gallery then in the reply box click the insert image icon on the top and paste the address in there.

Its *in* the same place you see the PATS light blinking at actually contains two sensors, a sun sensor and a light sensor.

Pic Test

This is a test of the pic for sig system. If this had been an actual pic I could see it.

Why did you trade that brand new GT? By the way, nice choice in trucks!

First off where do you live in the panhandle I go to destin alot I use to live there but anyway if the picture is in your gallery go to it click the picture then on the page showing the picture should have a Forum Codes link.. and you will take that click it the very top link should be 2 in the box that pops up copy it and paste it into the insert image thing and then it will put it but after you have the picture it will probablly have to IMG in the front and 2 in the back you only need one but it doesn'tmatter hope this helps I know it sounds confusing but you'll get it

I had the GT for 10 months (9000 miles) and got tired of 0 - 60 in less than 5 seconds, 12.9 in the 1/4 mile, all the young girls giving me "the look" (I'm almost 50), Melting the tires a couple a times a day and lookin at all the bowtie and import boys in the rearview..............................Ya right!

I took the stang in for service and while waiting I was looking at the trucks as I always do. (Traded my last truck in 1985, fast cars mostly stangs since) and the sales man offered me more for the stang than I payed for it. Ford was having the big sale and this $40,000.00 truck was selling for $30,000.00, I talked him down to $27,000.00 I couldnt pass up a deal like that. I do kick myselt at least once a day for trading the GT though.

Know exactly what to do.. here let me help you a little better with the pictures.. Go to your gallery then open the gallery and you will see the little list of pics and thumbnails click one and then there will be a little Forum Codes link under the picture on the right side..click it.. there will be two links the first one is the one you need.. come to a post click the little yellow post card looking thing then paste that link and hit okay then it will be in there hope that helps!!

Because you didn't put the ADD my signature

you have to do that at the end of each post for it to go on there!
