As far as factory rims go, you went from the "outhouse" to the "penthouse"....

Looks good man, nice price too! Pretty much like buying tires and rims coming free.

Very Nice!

Looks great. That is the first thing I did with my truck as well, like you said, money well spent. Mister B, I noticed you had done the power windows, which is next on my list. What did you do with the holes left from the cranks, did you cap them?

Thanks- Greg

You know, it's almost a toss up as to what's uglier, the F150 steel wheels or the Ranger steel wheels. Now that I think about it, at least the Ranger ones kind of have a basic industrial look to them.

Huge improvement on your truck. Those wheels really did detract from the overall look of the truck. Very nice choice there.

I looked at the regular cab 8 footer when I was shopping for my truck. The idea of being able to have a tool box AND still put my bikes in the back with the tailgate closed was an appealing option. However, being able to toss my mountain bike in the back of my cab and have it locked up while at work for a little after work mtb action won out. If only I could have the best of both worlds and not have a truck that's a quarter of a mile long...

I've got a Red 2004 F-150 XL 4x4 Regular cab with an 8 foot bed that I've had for a year now. I love the truck. I love it even more now that I just bought some new factory take off 17" machined aluminum FX4 wheels to replace my original grey painted steel wheels. What a difference. It's like a whole new truck.

I'm gonna try and post a before and after Pic for you all to check out. You can also check out my gallery for a few more pics.

After

Although the truck looks good with the new wheels, I don't think those are FX4 wheels like you mentioned aboove. I believe those are STX wheels.

Yes those are STX wheels. The absolute best and cleanest looking wheel Ford F150 have going in my opinion.

I've replaced my XLT aluminum with those and I think it's a huge improvement.
