Pullies and Electric Fan Mod???

Does anyone have thoughts regarding the noticeable power improvements from installing underdrive pullies and electric fans.

I have already ordered the pulleys from Troyer and am wondering if anyone was happy with this mod. I'm contemplating the purchase of E fans and was interested in getting some seat of the pants feedback form installing this mod as well.

Thanks guys for all the input...this board rocks.

i did electric fans, cost me about $125 new, and im very happy with it. now if i had paid $400 maybe not, its a good mod for $125, but $4-500 is too much IMO unless you have the money to burn

I had E-fans and UD pulleys on my old truck and it was a nice difference.

I have UD pulleys here for my 05 but am waiting for E-fans because it makes the install so much easy.

These two get my vote right after a tuner.

I have Efans and like them. as far as power gains I would say minimal 10 to 12 hp. I can feel the differance more so in the morning when the fans are not running than in the afternoon when the ac and fans are running. it is a noticeable differance but barely. at idle 550 rpm the efans will push the limits of your alternator if your are running alot of accesories like ac on max ect. if you run underdrive pullies your headlights will definitely dim at the stock 550 rpm idle if you are running alot of accesories. you will need a tuner to increase your idle to arround 800 rpm to eliminate this problem or buy a overdrive pulley to speed up your altornator. this is why I steered clear of the underdrive pulleys. plus I didn't want to hurt the performance of my ac. it is poor enough as it is. I actually bought a over drive pulley for my alternator but never installed it because I didn't seem to have any problems. I believe they only run 24 bucks or something like that.
