I don't like 35 but might just do it to avoid the hassles.
I have 5% rear and 15% side windows on my Corvette and I find the 15% to be to dark when I'm driving at night. I had 35% done on the front windows of my Dark Stone Scab and I think it looks and performs quite well. The interior is now running much cooler and I still have great visibility.

My tint job ended up coming in two phases...the end result is that I really hate it.
Shop didn't have 20% in stock, so we added 15% to the front windows. After driving a couple of days, I felt like the match wasn't right and it was sort of distracting having two different color shades and light levels on the windows. The front windows seemed darker than the rear.
I went back to the shop to complain, and he ended up talking me into adding more tint to the back doors and rear to make it match better. This was an alternative to removing the front application and re-doing it with 20%. He made me an offer I couldn't refuse, and topped it by showing my an expedition with the same configuration. He added 15% on top of the factory tint on the rear doors and rear glass. !!

The end result is that while it looks really nice outside, it sucks driving because it's simply too dark. At night, I can't see s#$t! Visability is terrible. During the day, it resulted in added reflection on the glass inside the cab, so it's useless there too!

If the truck wasn't a lemon POS, I'd have it done again, but I'm in the middle of a BBB case, so there it sits.

Good luck!

If there is nothing in my gallery, I will add it. I'm not sure what's there now.

I just looked, and the pics with the 15% are there...here's one of them. I probably have some better stuff if needed.

[QUOTE=higdogg] Also, I know a chic that got her windows tinted today and the guy told her that some little bubbles on her side windows would be gone in about 2 days after the sun hits it a little bit or something. Is that true or did the guy mess up and try to blow smoke about it?

QUOTE]

my wife had her windows tinted recently, they told her the same thing. On the drivers side the bubbles went away. on the passenger side they didn't she took it back they replaced it no problem 10 min we were out of there. the only advice I have is make sure the place has a warranty on their work and have some type of warranty on the mat'l.. the place we go to has a lifetime warranty on the tint and work. (it was a bit more pricey but it has already been worth it)

Wow! That looks more like 5%. Maybe it is just the angle or the lighting. I can still see into my truck with 15%. I took this picture in the middle of the day and you can see through the side and back windows to the outside.

Well as you can tell by the color of my truck in the picture that is was pretty damn sunny when I took it but the back is factory and the front is 15%. Personally, I love how it came out and wouldn't change a thing.
