Thumbs up Ordered Xcalibrator 2

Ordered my X-Cal from Troyer today now it just a waiting game. I was really surprised at all of the information that is required on my truck to make this happen. Question for those with the X-Cal already, what did u put down for the trans shifting calibration, stock? firm? hard?

Ordered mine 10 days ago. I put down firm after talking to them about it. Said it would be noticably firmer than stock but not too harsh. Man I cant wait.

I left mine at stock...I might regret that. I said stock because on my previously chipped vehicle, I had them "firm" up the shift points and it was ridiculously firm. That's one thing I really didn't talk with them much about...maybe I should call Anita.

Welp, too late. They firmed it up for me a little knowing I'd want it eventually, AND my X2 has already shipped! AWESOME

Anita told me 10 to 20 days. I have a long time to wait. I told her OK i'd rather have it correct than fast.

I ordered mine on the 2nd of August. I have my calender marked and am anxiously awaiting the arrival.

As far as the question of whether to mark stock or firm, I think that Mike has said to just write firm and he will fix it just right for you. I think that everyone pretty much gets a firmer shift no matter what they put.

Just got mine last night after 5 weeks.
Definatly worth the wait even though im waiting for it to kick in after a few hundred miles. I think I'll have to make a road trip to expedite the process since I drive about 10 miles per day only.

I just installed my Xcal2 today and I think its the best upgrade ive done to my truck so far.

I put down for the firm shifts. During normal driving its just slightly firmer than stock but when you floor it, it's pretty firm but not enough to break anything. It shifts now the way the truck should have been shifting from factory. And after talking to Mike the firmer shifts reduce tranny slippage so in theory should extend tranny life.

Hope this helps
