white out. gives the wheel a more in motion look. But it has it limits, i say it ends at a 35" tire, after that unless it doesnt look rite at all. Im talking about super swampers things like that. it depends on how large the sidewall i guess. But ive always had the white letter out. Personal liking is RWL. Wish more companies would make a RWL on a larger variety of tires.

Around Here, we see lots of Black Wall Tires....... ON MINI VANS.

Now if I had Michelin Tires, after the Grand Prix Fiasco with the Michelin Tires, I'd put the OWL/RWL inside

But as for advertising, I won't rip the Ford badges off my truck just 'cause it's like Advertising. And I don't mine at all that people can read "Bridgestone Dueler" on my tires. I like them very much and I don't mind showing it.

Next time I replace my tires, it'll be white letters in for me. For one thing, I'm tired of scrubbing them. Only takes a few minutes, but that's a few minutes more in an already busy schedule Plus, I like the no white letter look better anyway. White letter tires look better on 1974 Camaros...but that's just my personal preference.

Does Michelin even make an RWL tire?

I like the white lettering.
I just wish I had bought a different brand.
People laugh when they read, 'MayPop'.
Can't reverse them because the other side says, 'StillMayPop'.

OWL (Outline White Letter) That is availiable for sure. As for RWL (Raised White Letter) Tirerack has it listed as an option for the Michelin LTX M/S but no Picture.

I had a set of the LTX's on my previous truck and have a set on my Expedition. Best tire I have ever run. BTW, the white letters are on the inside.
