Ive also got the westin ovals. I've had them for about 9 months now and never had a single problem with them. They are solid as a rock and bolted to existing holes.

I like the Westins. I've had them on all three of the F150s I've owned over the years.

I just bought the Smittybilt wheel to wheel black step bars for my screw and I really like them...the mounts are very heavy duty as well.

i vote for the westin step bars, i love mine, they hold close to the cab so you would not loose much clearence.
as far as the b.guard for a winch, i don't know

I've got NASTA all stainless steel. Couldn't be happier. Chrome plated aluminum nerf bars? never!!!

I also have nasta's. They are a nice looking sturdy stainless bar for about $160.00 inc shipping off E-bay

I've got the Force sidebars. They've been durable in the 6 months I have had them in all different types of terrain. I also had to work with the customer service rep at Force and they were great (retailer screwed up order) so I would recommend them from that perspective also.

Another vote for the N-Fabs. I wanted a nerf step that hugged close to the bottom of the cab and didn't stick out too far to the side. They bolt to existing holes in the body, where the factory steps would be and are very strong. I'm very happy with mine.
